With the rising popularity at national as well as international level, Narendra Modi many a times considered more popular than his political party - Bhartiy Janta Party (BJP). Many critics comments that  PM has 'used' the party as a platform to wear the crown of PM and later overruled the party.

In that context, a cartoon was taken out by Indiabells.com which shows difference between Yesterday and Today claiming that earlier Modi was standing in a lotus - the mascot/symbol of BJP. And today, he has taken the same lotus in his hands.

Apparently, Modi has gained popularity in India and all countries he visited throughout his political career and proved to be a celebrity of among politicians.
The cartoon suggests that the popularity is achieved through self-appraisal.
